Meet Our Pastor

A native of Jacmel, Haiti, Pastor Roland was raised in the Bethesda Church of Ravine Normande, where his father served as senior pastor. His early devotion and deep love for God inspired his father to encourage him toward seminary training.

Although he initially declined, uncertain about the nature of his calling, God’s persistent hand continued to shape his journey.

After leaving Jacmel, Pastor Roland held various leadership roles while serving a church in Brooklyn, NY. Although he heard the call, he resisted, feeling it was not the right time.

He then relocated to Philadelphia, PA, where he once again heard the unmistakable call of God. This time, he answered with full surrender, saying, “Here I am, Lord; I will do whatever You want me to do.”

Pastor Roland pursued formal theological training through the Wesleyan Church. He studied ministry at the Jameson School of Ministry and continued at the Jameson School of Theology for three years. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Jameson Christian College, a Master of Arts from the International Christian University, and was subsequently honored with a Doctorate in Theology.

Known for his humility and servant leadership, Pastor Roland strives to faithfully communicate God’s Word and equip believers to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His energetic and insightful teaching style helps people connect biblical truths to their daily lives.

In addition to his work in Philadelphia, Pastor Roland remains deeply connected to his hometown of Jacmel, Haiti. There, he has established several churches and co-founded a tuition-free school that now serves over 300 children, offering them hope and education through faith.
